Oddfellows Chain Variation Quilt Block

© Janet Wickell
This variation of the Oddfellows Chain quilt block is identical to another block of the same name, Oddfellows Chain, of course, but the variation has a patchwork star at its center rather than a plain square of fabric.

The Oddfellows Chain variation finishes at 16-inches square, and can be used for a project of any scale, wallhanging to bed quilt. Try combining it with the other variation, linked above, to add a bit of extra visual interest to your quilt.

Read the entire pattern before cutting fabric.

Colors refer to the block illustrated -- change as desired. Fabric letters refer to patches shown on a visual guide, page 5 of the pattern. Print out the schematic if you like, and click the image to zoom-in.
