Lucky Clover Quilt Block Pattern

Make a somewhat simplified version of the Lucky Clover quilt block. My pattern offers the choice of two different finished block sizes: 6-inches square and 12-inches square. All of Lucky Clover's units are rotary cut and quick pieced.

The 6-inch version of Lucky Clover is the twelfth quilt block for the Backwards Medallion Sampler quilt pattern.

Choose fabrics that suit your sampler quilt or other project.

^*Fabrics for ONE 6-inch Quilt Block^*

A: Block center: (1) 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square

B, Brown fabric adjacent to center, with one edge that 'points' outward: (4) 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" squares

C, Light background fabric to create triangles along one edge of Fabric B: (8) 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" squares

D, Dark green fabric used for squares in corner units: (2) 1-1/2" x 6-1/2" strips

E, Black fabric used for squares in corner units: (1) 1-1/2" x 6-1/2" strip

F, Light green fabric used for squares in block corner units: (1) 1-1/2" x 6-1/2" strip

A, Block center: (1) 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" square

B, Brown fabric adjacent to center, with one edge that 'points' outward: (4) 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" squares

C, Light background fabric to create triangles along one edge of Fabric B: (8) 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" squares

D, Dark green fabric used for squares in corner units: (2) 2-1/2" x 10-1/2" strips

E, Black fabric used for squares in corner units: (1) 2-1/2" x 10-1/2" strip

F, Light green fabric used for squares in block corner units: (1) 2-1/2" x 10-1/2" strip
