This version of the Oddfellows Chain quilt block finishes at 16-inches square. Sew a batch of the blocks for a bed quilt or surround one block with borders to create a throw pillow cover or small wallhanging. Play with the patchwork -- the block is designed with many pieces, and can look very different if you switch-up its colors and contrast. Compare the two Oddfellows Chain layouts on the last page of the pattern with the block shown here, since it's often more interesting to use at least two block layouts in the same quilt.
