Roman Stripes (you'll see it called other names, too) is the eighth quilt block for the Backwards Medallion Sampler quilt. The block is easy to construct, but do cut and sew carefully, since some patches are small.
I've included extra instructions on page 3 of the pattern... strip piecing cutting and sewing for 20 Roman Stripes quilt blocks that finish at two different sizes, 6-inches and 12-inches square. Try the block in a strippy set quilt, or any time you'd like to boost a quilt's scrappy look. Roman Stripes will help you use the leftover fabrics in your stash.
