Learn How to Cut Snowflakes

There are at least two or three different ways to fold paper (or fabric) to cut 6-sided snowflakes... just like the snowflakes that fall from the sky, but this is my favorite. The technique is easy, with pre-cutting creases that take the guesswork out of where to fold.

Start by practicing with paper, and stick with paper if you prefer, or switch to fabric. Spritz fabric snowflakes with several layers of starch to stiffen the fabric and prep the shapes for hanging. Grab some small beads or any other type of  lightweight embellishments to  add a bit of interest, use spray adhesive to bond the snowflakes to cloth, make tiny snowflakes for your cloth postcards or decorate with them in any other way you like.
