The Tree of Temptation quilt block is traditionally sewn with green leaves and red squares that mimic apples, but I think it would be lovely sewn to resemble the changing colors of leaves in the fall. Identical blocks look best separated by alternate quilt blocks or sashing, since the trees would all blend into each other if sewn side by side. That shouldn't be an issue if adjacent trees are not alike.
