Make No-Waste Flying Geese Units

I wasn't a huge fan of the no-waste Flying Geese method at first, probably because I was so accustomed to creating the units with another quick piecing technique. But I changed my mind after wasting loads of fabric when I made a quilt with oodles of geese units. The no-waste geese method truly is simple, and in my opinion is more accurate than the other popular quick piecing technique.

Thanks SO MUCH for posting this! I’ve bookmarked it now so the next time my geese need flying lessons…I’ll know where to look. I LOVE this method, but have rarely used it only because I could NEVER REMEMBER how to calculate for the size I needed. Your tutorial is simple to follow and I know I’ll refer to it often!

You’re welcome. I love the method and am working up some similar things for other units.
