Fruit Basket Quilt Block Pattern

I'm a fan of the Fruit Basket quilt block. You can go very scrappy with the design if you like, or use two fabrics (placed diagonally from each other) as illustrated here. Vary the handle if you prefer (maybe try lace or embroidery). You might even choose to do away with the handle altogether and fill the baskets with overlapping yoyos or floral motifs cut from printed cloth (similar to the butterflies in Catching the View). As always, the final design is your choice.
