Flower Basket Quilt Block Pattern

Flower Basket is the seventh quilt block pattern in the Scrap Happy Sampler Quilt series. Like the other sampler blocks, this one finishes at 12-inches square. The block is an exercise in half square triangle units, and if making those units is new to you, I recommend you sew them oversize and then cut each one back to its perfect (unfinished) size after assembly (you'll find instructions within the tutorial). Don't pay attention to the colors shown here -- they're simply suggestions. Go as scrappy as you like with the block.
