Springtime Ribbons Quilt Pattern

Springtime Ribbons was designed to be made from Karen Neuburger's pink-ribbon fabrics, but you can choose any theme you like for the quilt.

Traditional patchwork Spool blocks alternate with Friendship Stars -- they come together to create a secondary, circular motion across the face of the quilt. Both quilt blocks can be assembled in a couple of different ways (that's true of nearly all patchwork blocks). I've included two options for each, to help beginners start analyzing blocks in order to alter existing instructions or develop their own patterns.
