Amish Style Miniature Quilt Pattern

Friday May 23, 2008
miniature quilt pattern I planned to have a theme this month, Miniatures May, but it didn't quite work out. We still have a week left though and I do have a few more miniature quilts in the works, including the mini Oddfellows Star (I've put it off as long as possible). I hope you like this little mini, a double nine-patch in the Amish style. The quilt finishes at about 25-1/2" square. You can make it much scrappier if you like, and you can go wild with color combinations to brighten it up. Do what feels right to you.

Loved the Mimi oddfellows minature
that you showed, #4 in the gallery.
Are you giving that pattern or
having a series on this quilt?

Have always wanted to see Amish Quilts they are really beautiful I would suppose that the children are taught by making the miniature quilts.
