Floral Monkey Wrench Quilt Block Pattern

Saturday April 12, 2008
quiltingThe traditional Monkey Wrench quilt block is an all time favorite. Like other blocks, its dimensions can be configured to give a little here or take a little there, and this version's big triangular corners are the perfect place to showcase floral prints. I wrote the pattern for Terri, one of our Quilting Forum Hostesses. She's organizing a swap for 9" versions of the block, so be sure to monitor the Forum or check the pattern for the link if you would like to participate. The pattern includes instructions to make eight identical blocks in two sizes, 4-1/2" square and 9" square.
