Easy Quilt Block Pattern Not So Much of a Trick

Wednesday April 9, 2008
Here's a simple 12-inch quilt block that's suitable for a block swap, or you can make bunches of blocks all for yourself. Beginners can stitch it up just fine and more experienced quilters might like to take advantage of the movement that can be achieved by experimenting with color value placement. Blocks with orderly color arrangements look good, but I think this one is even better when it's used to make a scrap quilt.

This looks interesting. Lots of practice matching corners. This is something I need to do. I love it for a scrap quilt.
