Janet's Quilting BlogSpringtime Pinwheels Quilt The Springtime Pinwheels Quilt is made from a combination of two quilt blocks you might have seen in this week's newsletter, Pinwheel in a Square and Mosaic Pinwheels. Quilt blocks are alternated from row to row to create a secondary design on the surface of the quilt. The layout makes it look like blocks are placed on-point, but they're actually sewn together horizontally. Blocks finish at 8-inches square and the quilt measures about 53" x 69".© Janet Wickell Friday March 28, 2008 | comments (2) Display Latest Headlines | powered by WordPress |
