Double Pinwheel Quilt Block

Saturday December 15, 2007
quilting We'll make eight half-square triangle units, called triangle squares for short, for the Double Pinwheel block. The triangle square is probably the most commonly used patchwork unit, so you'll encounter it over and over when you make quilts. The block goes together quickly and easily, and I think you'll like the color play created by the pinwheel extension in the outer rows.
