One popular dollhouse size is referred to as 1:12 scale, which indicates that every 1-inch in the dollhouse and its furnishings is equal to 12-inches in the full size item. For instance, a 12-inch quilt block would be reduced to 1-inch to fit the scale of the house. The little quilts are fun to make, no matter whether you choose a quick and easy version or decide to stitch a more intricate mini.

Hi Natalie, I’m working to catch up. Terrible spring, including our property being struck by lighting and some illness. So I’m behind. I’m feeling really good now so things are beginning to fall back into place.
I love your articals about miniature quilts and have saved the patterns. I was wondering if you knew were I would find some miniature applique designs please? I thought I might try and make a miniature applique doll quilt as well. I am having a doll house built and my daughter is renovating her childhood doll house so thought they would look nice.
