Sewing Quilt Borders with Corner Squares

Thursday May 17, 2007
Sewing borders with corner squares--sometimes called cornerstones--is a really quick way to add extra color and interest to your quilt. You can use pieced blocks or plain squares of fabric. Part of the technique is like the method you use to add butted borders. Make just a few deviations and your corner squares will be sewn in place in no time.
