Make a Ragged Edge Dog Bandana

Thursday December 7, 2006
I'd like to introduce you to Charlie, our little Brussels Griffon and the newest model on the doggie fashion runway--at our house anyway. Poor thing, his mom has all kinds of plans for quilted doggie wear this winter, so I'm sure he'll be wriggling in and out of lots of outfits. This string pieced bandana is an easy one, and the rag edge construction makes it oh so easy to customize. I used flannel to make the bandana, but it would look good stitched with lightweight denim or any of your quilting cottons. Give it a try in Christmas colors and put a little bell on it to ring in the holidays.

He really is a cutie–and I wish I had his energy. But he thinks he’s a cat.

LOL… he is pretty ragged looking in the photo.. he needed to be groomed. But I haven’t even looked at the newsletter — I’m afraid to. The titles might have been shortened. It went out a day early — unedited — argh…

Charlie is a sweetie-pie, and he looks awesome with that bandana. I’ll have to try a couple of them for my kitties. :)

Next, of course, I’ll do a Catching the View quilt. (In my wildest dreams!) LOL

Franny, catching the view isn’t really hard at all. And you could use a single panel “view out the window” instead of piecing the windows.
