Thanks for Your Input!

Saturday June 10, 2006
Thanks to everyone who has voted in the poll so far and responded with comments about the type of articles you'd like to see more of on About Quilting. Your input is a huge help to me. Quilt patterns and block patterns are the leading choices right now, so I thought I'd point you to a few that are online:

I'm growing the quilt block library, little by little. And have added technique instructions for foundation piecing and making a denim quilt. Topics like how to press your quilt blocks, sewing on borders and lots more are filed away in sub-folders within the Quiltmaking Basics folder, so browse through that area if you're looking for basic quilting info.

Please do keep your emails and comments coming. I love to hear from you.

I would love to see different quilt layouts with the block patterns. I find I may not like a particular block until I see the different ways it can be arranged. Also, quilt layouts using more than one block would be nice.

I would like a question and answer section in each newsletter so that readers can see if other quilters are having the same problems they are. One time answers could reach many quilters.
