I suppose this baby quilt could just as easily be called in the lavenders, but pinks is so much easier to say. The quilt is made from a combination of traditional Broken Dishes and Hour Glass blocks. Blocks finish at 9-inches square and are suitable for quilters of any skill level. They're arranged on point, with setting and corner triangles filling in the jagged edges around the sides of the quilt. I added two borders, a narrow border first and then a wider outer border, but you can sew on as many as you like -- it's an easy way to alter dimensions.Quilt © Janet Wickell, designed in EQ v6

Well finally, here are the finishing steps for the first Anniversary Sampler Quilt. I've added an option for plain corners for anyone who wants to zip through it a little more quickly. You could also do away with the pieced sashing ends and sew sashing to the quilt as plain bars. Quilting is all about personal choices and options -- the final look is up to you, so make those changes if you like.
